ZHSCI Co-founded CAS S&T Industrialization Alliance
CAS（Chinese Academy of Science）associated 120 institutions including ZHSCI to co-found S&T Industrialization Alliance on May 26, Beijing. The alliance would focus on the recent 3 to 5 years transferrable S&T achievements from CAS and such research institutes home and abroad.
Zhang Hongwei, President of ZHSCI, was invited to attend the inaugurating meeting and declare the members of the council.
Bai Chunli, President of CAS, said the “Internet Plus” OTO model, serving transformations of S&T discoveries, would integrate innovation chain, industry chain and capital chain effectively.
Deng Maicun, Secterary General of CAS, took up Honnor Chairman of the alliance. Zhang Ping, Chairman of Casmart Hoding Company, held the post of the president. “There are two problems that are hard to solve: one is information asymmetry, and the other is the lack of a good ecological environment. “said Zhang. Therefore, building a platform in CAS according to market demands would integrate inside and outside resources and promote specialization of S&T achievements.
According to incomplete statistics, in 2016 CAS had 11281 S&T transformation achievements, adding 1499 items, with the adding sale revenue 383.143 billion yuan for social enterprises. CAS mentioned that the S&T transformation would make newly added sale revenue over 600 billion, together with profit tax 60 billion yuan per year by 2020.
ZHSCI participated in the alliance, aiming at exploring the problems and countermeasures together in order to form an effective mechanism of transformation for scientific and technological achievement, which would offer total factor technology solutions for the enterprises in demand. It also would organize the release, recommendation, exhibition as well as docking for S&T achievements and demands. Furthermore, the alliance would organize the talent team to conduct offline consulting.
